Nde, it is affecting her, I ended up buying a toy camera, too ♪ ♪ ♪
February 13 (Fri), and when I went to Ebisu Garden Place, stopped at a museum shop I bought the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.

However, rather than identical, was a picture of the camera SHIROKUMA “Shirokuma camera” I have found, and he and Shikanai ♪ Yappa Shirokuma camera which I purchased.

In doing so, incidentally also buy film.

Today, I finished the photos taken with toy cameras, has been received.

But is 撮Renai’re pretty well ^ _ ^;
Most lack the brightness, and many have seen what I do not know what, only one of success? Was.
Yappa, I like where I have to take one as a bright sunny day outside.
When I tried this myself, Kana Megumi-chan, that’s not the unskillfully, I understand, that is.

Following from the diary, introduced toy camera photos.

front view of DIY ringflash box

I’ve been itching to make a DIY ring flash for sometime but had no luck finding a bundt pan to work with.

nickwheeleroz version (link below) of the home-brewed ringflashes got me down to work. I had followed his steps, then realized the cardboard box alone wasn’t sturdy enough for holding two flashes. I made enforcements by building an aluminum frame for the unit.

However, building the frame alone took alot of effort. Drilling, assembling, measuring then disassembling – repeat. Certainly something I enjoyed ;)

As a result the whole unit is stable! The only downside is, it’s heavy, bulky and ideally to remain on a heavy-duty tripod. My unit without flash & camera weighted 1.2 kg (almost 3 lbs!)

I had high hopes that I could carry that thing around, but after a few tests shots off tripod, my left arm went jelly.

DIY Ring Flash, originally uploaded by Jamie D P.

Here is a home made DIY ring flash that I am building.
I will post more images soon as it is now working, when this was taken I had not added any electronics apart from the Xenons.

It now has a 240v mains power supply I designed and built, it will also run on 4 AA batterys, it has a recharge time of < 1 second, it has a wireless trigger or triggered by cable sync.

The new Pentax AF160FC ring flash I got for Chrimbo mounted on my K10D and attached to my 50mm on extension tubes macro setup.

It’s making better than 1:1 macro magnifications hand-held a complete doddle compared to what I used to go through. I also couldn’t get close enough on full extension without vignetting the flash or suffering crippling shadows before, whereas now the illumination even at a few cm is so wonderfully even and glorious and stepping down to a sensible aperture is so easy.

I’m really looking forward to getting out there and using it properly now I actualy officially have it.

Clark Little was born in Napa, California in 1968. Two years later, a move to the North Shore of Oahu (Hawaii) dramatically changed his future. In the 80’s and 90’s he made his name as a pioneer of surfing at the Waimea Bay shorebreak. Clark had a unique talent for taking off on hopeless closeout shorebreak waves and surviving in one piece.
Clark Little on Good Morning America (2009)
In less than three years, Clark has gained national and international recognition for his North Shore shorebreak wave photography with appearances on television shows Good Morning America, Inside Edition, The Today Show, and ABC World News Now. Clark’s work has been featured in many publications and newspapers including Paris Match (France), La Vie (France), The Guardian (UK), The Telegraph (UK), Nalu (Japan), Surfer’s Journal, Surfer Magazine, Surfing Life (Australia), Geo (Germany), Nature’s Best Photography, Stern-View (Germany), Hana Hou (Hawaiian Airlines) among others.
In 2007, Clark discovered his ability and passion to capture the extraordinary beauty of the shorebreak when his wife asked him for a picture of the ocean to decorate a bedroom wall. With his shorebreak surfing experience in mind, Clark grabbed a camera, jumped in the ocean, and starting snapping away recording the beauty and power of Hawaiian waves for all to enjoy. “Clark’s view” is a unique view of the waves from the inside out that most people would only be able to experience safely on land while viewing one of Clark’s photos.
With several camera upgrades, new underwater housings and a compulsion to get that better shot, photography has become his career and the ocean has become his office.
